Mangaluru : An innovative ‘Melodic Rhythm’ presenting melody and rhythm adorned by dance creating a celestial aura and a divine experience was held at the cultural centre of the Expert Campus at Valachil, Mangaluru. The Show featured Padmashri Pt. Vijay Ghate, Pune on tabla; Ustad Rafique Khan, Mangaluru, on Sitar; Ms. Sheetal Kolwalkar, Pune presenting Kathak Ghungroo and Suranjan Khandalkar, Pune, Vocalist. The audience was enthralled by the soul soothing performance of the celebrated artists. The performance showcased the heights of musical creativity, instrumental accomplishment and the mesmerising skills of Indian classical dance and its harmonious blending to create a spiritual experience.
