“It is the high time to rededicate for the sake of the nation”, said Captain Ganesh Karnik, MLC Karnataka Govt, the chief guest of the 71st Independence Day celebration held at Expert PU College, on August 15, 2017 at Bhagavati temple premises, Kodialbail, Mangalore.
“Education comes with great responsibility and accountability. To strike pessimistic note over the past 70 years India has become loud talking, impractical, dishonest, corrupt and lazy. So it is the right time to rededicate ourselves for the sake of the nation.”-he said.
Mr. Ganesh Kuntalpady, managing trustee, Bhagavati temple Kodialbail, Mangaluru, addressed the gathering as another guest of the day. Prof. Narendra L Nayak, Chairman, Expert Educational & Charitable Foundation®, Mangalore, Prof. Ramachandra Bhat, Principal, Expert P U College, Kodialbail, Ustad Rafique Khan, Trustee, Expert Educational & Charitable Foundation®, Mangalore, Yogaratna Gopalakrishna Delampady and Mr. Ankush N Nayak, Alumnus, Expert PU College, Kodialbail were the dignitaries present on the dais.
The national flag was hoisted by the chief guest and the cultural programme followed. Prof. Ramachandra Bhat, the Principal, administered the oath of office to the newly elected members of the student council.
Various competitions were held in connection with the Independence day and the prizes were given away on this occasion.
Rishab Innani, Vice President of the Student Council welcomed the gathering and Spoorthi, Joint Secretary of the Council proposed the vote of thanks. Lahari Alva and Smriti compered the programme.
